Try this exercise. Name the thing bothering you the most right now. Don’t think about it - as soon as you read that statement, something immediately came to mind. Now ask yourself why that thing/situation/person is upsetting you. If you have a pen and paper handy, write the reasons down. Now ask yourself why those reasons matter. Why do they bother you?
